This is not a genre that I would usually choose, but I greatly enjoyed Hunters Moon Rising and I thought this book was even better. The characters are very well developed - I really cared about the main characters and wanted everything to end well for them. The suspense builds well and the book is full of unexpected twists and turns. I generally try to read for just a short period of time before bed, but this book kept me up past my bedtime for several nights, because I couldn't put it down. My only worry is that I don't know whether the ending left room for a third book! If there is a third book, I will definitely be reading it!As a disclaimer, I know the author. However, I paid for the book like everyone else and if I hadn't enjoyed the book, I would not have written a positive review (and I probably would not have even read the entire book).
